[ECOS] hello world program on ecos

hi,
 the building of ecos for linux synthetic target is complete as per the
instructions given in users manual.
 the problem is when the 'hello world' program is compiled the following
error pops up
" target.ld: 161. parser error."

the command used was
" gcc -g -I/INSTALL_DIR/include hello.c -L/INSTALL_DIR/lib -Ttarget.lib
-nostdlib"
which is also as per the manual.

can u please help me solve this problem.
