[ECOS] a.out size

Hello All,

I have a simple helloworld.c program
compiles using eCos under Linux (i386).
Ecos is 1.3.1 with standard
configuration.
Compiler is /usr/bin/gcc.
Linux version 6.2

The size of a.out is 567K.
Is there any way to reduce this size ?
