Thanks for the quick reply.  Yes, commenting out the UBC line helped.
When I get more time, I'll look into why the breakpoint controller code
didn't work.

Single stepping in 7709a should be working now. I think it's broken on
some 7729s for an unknown reason - uncommenting the UBC line should
help.
