[ECOS] dl_edb7xxx slow on 3MB file

I am trying to download a 3M size binary file containing < 1MB of code/data to my edb7212 board using dl_edb7xxx.

dl_edb7xxx filename 115200

The "download boot code" is fast, but the "download file data", even at 115200, is slow.  I realize that the flash write cycle has to be several microseconds per byte and maybe this is part of my problem.  Even then it should take no more than a minute.

Does anyone know?
