[ECOS] What differences are between ARM AEB and ARM PID?

You can find more information about all the supported hardware on
http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/hardware.html including links to the
manufacturers' web pages. The latter should give you all the
information you need. Basically the AEB board is a cheap board that
only provides limited functionality, e.g. just 128K of RAM and a
serial connector. The PID board provides much more functionality but
is more expensive.

There are also more recent boards, the Evaluator and the Integrator.
ARM are currently doing a port of eCos to the Integrator. It is not
yet clear who will do a port to the Evaluator, or when.
