[ECOS] debugging with EP7211

Hi
   i am building eCos for Ep7211 cirrus logic board .
  i have one more question to ask . currently ecos provides the gdb stubs to 
be downloaded to the board . if instead if we use Angle stub sitting inside 
the target , and then communicating with eCos on host using GNU gdb , will 
it work ? what needs to be done in that case ?
