[ECOS] does the floppy disk with application can boot the target?

Hi,after remote debug with GDB on the PC target ,we complile the example:hello.c to hello and succeed on debugging 
.
 
We think that the hello can boot automatically on 
the target pc ,but in fact it can not .
 
We use the following command to copy the hello to 
the floppy:
dd if=hello of=/dev/fd0
 
So I want to know does it can boot the pc or not ?if it can 
,what is the reason of my failure,and if it can not ,how can I do to 
automatically boot my pc target.
