When find-debuginfo runs debugedit, it consumes its stdout in a backtick to
fetch the new build-id.  It would be nice if debugedit emitted some extra
diagnostics to help with unusual situations.  These could go on stderr:

- source file rewriting stats (listed vs. rewritten)
- source file enumeration (-l) mode stats (listed vs. subdir-mismatched)
- set of directories encountered in source tree
- incoming & outgoing buildids
