Request: please update to coreutils >=9.1

Hi folks,

I had to revert 9.1, as with 9.1+, cp fails to overwrite existing files even
with -f and just complains the files exist!

I have traced the heck out of the operations and have been unable to track down
exactly what it is (not?) doing to decide not to check if the files exist and
not detect and handle existing files!

If anyone else has any ideas where it is going wrong, or how to fix what is
going wrong, please let me know, and I can release a patched version.
