Sorry Guys,
life took over and I was far away from Cygwin for too long.
The current problem with any Python update is that 3.9.16 was
the last one I succedded to have it working as Cygwin package.
Something changed upstream on 3.9.17 and the resulting Cygwin packages
for 17 and 18 were broken. They compiled but did not work as needed.
I assume any following release have the same issue.
https://cygwin.com/pipermail/cygwin/2024-January/255275.html
I have some time available now and I will look again at the problem,
but if some Python expert want to also look on it, I will appreciate.
Regards
Marco
