Isn’t this a defect in cygpath?  Looks like memory corruption.


%%%cygpath -w /usr/tmp/*
C:\cygwin\usr\tmp\

%%%cygpath -w /usr/non-existent/*
C:\cygwin\usr\non-existent\�[W��
