gnupg packaging bug?

Out of curiosity I looked how Fedora is doing this. It provides a
libusb-0.1 compatibility layer called "libusb" in version 0.1.x on top
of the real libusb called "libusbx" in version 1.0.x.
It also provides gnupg-1.4.18 linked against libusb-0.1.
And, this a rather unexpected surprise, its gnupg2 package or rather,
the gnupg2-smime module, is actually linked against... libusb-0.1!
