I'm guessing it's because I'm this program on a 64-bit system.
I received the following error. The program still seemed to run ok though.

C:\Cowpatty>genpmk
      1 [main] Genpmk 21936 find_fast_cwd: WARNING: Couldn't compute FAST_CWD po
inter. Please report this problem to
the public mailing list cygwin@cygwin.com
genpmk 1.0 - WPA-PSK precomputation attack. <jwright@hasborg.com>
genpmk: Must specify a dictionary file with -f
Usage: genpmk [options]

        -f Dictionary file
        -d Output hash file
        -s Network SSID
-h Print this help information and exit
-v Print verbose information (more -v for more verbosity)
-V Print program version and exit

After precomputing the hash file, run cowpatty with the -d argument.
