The following packages have been updated for the Cygwin distribution:
* libtirpc1-0.2.4-1
* libtirpc-common-0.2.4-1
* libtirpc-devel-0.2.4-1
TI-RPC provides a library that implements Transport Independent Remote
Procedure Calls. It supports RPCs over IPv4, IPv6, as well as local unix
sockets.
This release is an update to the latest upstream release, with a patch
for a number of issues fixed upstream since. GSS-API support has been
enabled. Its own XDR implementation is used instead of relying on the
unmaintained one in newlib (which is just a copy of an older libtirpc);
going forward, software relying on XDR should use this instead.
