xetex problem - Couldn't open font map file "kanjix.map"

Yes it's installed and the contents was also listed in the ls-R file. Strange...

BTW I just did the following steps manually
 
    /usr/bin/updmap-sys --syncwithtrees
    /usr/bin/updmap-sys
    /usr/bin/mktexlsr

and now everything is fine. I think the call to /usr/bin/updmap-sys is
missing from the texlive postinstall scripts. This step at least creates
the kanjix.map file below /var/lib/texmf/fonts/map/dvipdfm/updmap
