The following packages have been updated for the Cygwin distribution:

*** ruby-1.9.3-p194-3
*** ruby-doc-1.9.3-p194-3 (NEW)
*** ruby-json-1.7.5-1 (NEW)
*** ruby-minitest-2.12.1-1 (NEW)
*** ruby-rake-0.9.2.2-1 (NEW)
*** ruby-rdoc-3.12-1 (NEW)
*** ruby-tcltk-1.9.3-p194-3

Ruby is an interpreted scripting language for quick and easy
object-oriented programming.

This is a major update to the latest upstream stable release. It is ABI
incompatible with 1.8.7; any binary extensions which you have installed
yourself will need to be recompiled. There are some changes which
affect Ruby code as well, but the 1.9 branch has been stable for some
time and currently maintained code should already be compatible.

RubyGems is now integrated into Ruby; pure Ruby and source gems can be
installed with gem(1). The newest compatible versions of the gems
shipped with Ruby itself are shipped individually.
