git fails with "error 487" in winmm.dll

Yes.  Multiple people.  And it's already fixed in the latest snapshot.

Can you please tell how to fix the problem? Because I tried by
reinstalling cygwin base and git. I also tried by reinstalling by
downloading the latest version of setup.exe. Still I am getting the
same fatal error.
