Unset TMP/TEMP in profile? (was Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] [1.7] Updated: cygwin-1.7.0-67)

A Windows application is likely to fail on cygpath-transformed values of 
TEMP and TMP anyway, or am I missing something?
(E.g. is there some implicit back-transformation if cygwin starts a 
Windows application?)
