Serial Port (FTDI driver) for Cygwin?

I have an USB-serial device connected to a Windows XP PC that shows up
as COM7 under Windows and works fine. But with the same hardware
combination I looked in Cygwin under /dev/ and did not see a COM7
item. Am I missing a driver? Please help! Thank you!
