Cron 'WRONG FILE OWNER' Problem Cygwin 1.7/Windows 7

Hi

I had been happily using 'cron' on cygwin for quite a while.  After updating the user password using cron-config, suddenly cron refuses to read my cron tab, putting 'WRONG FILE OWNER' in the Windows application log.

Has this been seen and resolved?

I have been trying for weeks now but no luck, so at this point and help would be appreciated.
