Using mount in [1.7] from a Windows command prompt

In [1.5] I can use mount from a Windows command prompt:

C:\> d:\bin\mount c:/tmp /tmp
C:\> d:\bin\mount
c:\tmp on /tmp type system (binmode)

In [1.7] I want to be able to do the same thing but
C:\> m:\bin\mount c:/tmp /tmp
achieves nothing.

Is there a syntax that will achieve this for me? The -f option does not
make any difference. Thank you.

Fergus
