  As Marco says, known problem with libgfortran DLL at the moment; as a
workaround, use static linking:

$ gfortran -O0 -fno-second-underscore -o testp testp.f -static

admin@ubik /tmp/fortran/2
$ ./testp 2>&1 | tee testp.out
 testing a Fortran program

admin@ubik /tmp/fortran/2
$
