SSH error: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer

So, the client is connecting to the server...

> debug1: Offering public key: /d003/clarify/.ssh/id_dsa 
> Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer 
> Connection closed 

... and a little while later the server is closing the connection, booting the
client off.

You need to look in the server logs to see the reason.  If there's not enough
information there, try increasing LogLevel, restarting the server, and trying
again.
