Finally managed to create a jailed SFTP server, but how secure?

I tried it from jailed SFTP session:

  sftp> cd /dev
  Couldn't canonicalise: No such file or directory
  sftp> cd /proc
  Couldn't canonicalise: No such file or directory

They don't exist.
