Works fine for me:

$ id
uid=1006(rberber) gid=545(Users)
groups=513(None),544(Administrators),545(Users),544(Administrators),1019(vcusr)

$ su jabel

$ id
uid=1016(jabel) gid=545(Users) groups=513(None),545(Users),1019(vcusr)
