ImportError: No module named Numeric

[mostlyharmless]

The Numeric package is installed in
C:\cygwin\usr\lib\python2.4\site-packages\Numeric

while all other packages are put in
C:\cygwin\usr\lib\python2.5\site-packages, so perhaps

the Numeric package as supplied only works with python 2.4?
