cygdrive uses incorrect date

Yes, there are.  In the obvious place:  the FAQ.

If your license server is a cygwin application then you should just ask
for the sources so that can fix this problem yourself.  Remember that
using the Cygwin DLL ensures that the application is basically GPLed.
