Bug found, new snapshot generated so still - testers needed prior to 1.5.19 release

I think I probably found the cause for this and the other rxvt problem.
I seem to have duplicated something similar on my non-hyperthreading
system.  Stupid hyperthreading...

I'm running my changes through the test suite now but I probably won't
have a new snapshot to try until tomorrow.
