Win XP SP2: cvs over ssh problems

Facinating.  A subsequent run produced this (slightly different) output:

$ cvs status myFile.txt
cvs status: warning: unrecognized response `Warning: No xauth data; using fake
a' from cvs servera for X11 forwarding.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
