Aha! So THAT'S what happened to my info directory! I
hadn't really looked into it, since usually I just
type "info bletch" anyway. I ran a modified version
of that script and it's back to normal now.

BTW, you need to add colons to your IFS or replace
them (e.g., $(echo $INFOPATH | sed -e 's/:/ /g')).
And, of course, /usr/info and /usr/share/info were
already in my $INFOPATH anyway.
