xml:simple install fails

hi, all
i got the warning messageas follow when i try to install xml:simple under 
cygwin


$ perl makefile.pl
Checking for required modules ...
XML::SAX is not installed
XML::Parser is installed ... good
Storable is not installed ... caching functions will not be available

Writing Makefile for XML::Simple

how can I get rid of this warning? and what is the caching functions i 
need? Is it one of the package under cygwin? can anyone help me? thanks
