make fails.

hi, all
I got the problem as follow:
$make
'-c' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
make: *** [blib\lib\Net\.exists] Error 1

I have no any idea about why does this happen and how to solve it. Can 
anyone help me? thanks a lot!
