AFAIK, we're still waiting on Fabrizio's assignment.  I don't recall
that there are any other outstanding binutils patches that impact
cygwin.

Oh wait, yes.  There is a windres patch still waiting approval, I think.
But that isn't really pertinent to this discussion, I suspect.
