Compiling rsync 2.5.6 under Cygwin?

Can you give any/all of the following?:
- Exactly when the hang occurs
- strace output
- gdb backtraces

Let's confirm that this really *is* the same bug. Any info... as above.

That's a warning, not an error.

Also: Cygwin comes with a popt package. If you install it, rsync will link
against the system popt shared library, rather than needlessly incorporating
an extra copy of libpopt into itself.

And that's only an informational message.

I see no errors.
