corrupted cygwin startup.

1. Run a command protmp window
2. Go to the bin subdir of the cygwin install dir i.e. c:\cygwin\bin
3. type this 'bash --login -i'
4. Report back to the list what happens (also attach your copy of
cygwin.bat)
