/proc/registry : writable or not ?

Hi,

trying the last cygwin dll version, I played in /proc/registry.

is it writable in any way ?
I tried to do chmod +w on the virtual files (lol)
but readonly is set.

cmohd doesn't report an error and $? is 0, but files have r--.
