g++ (v.3.1.1-4) -mno-cygwin with a hello world sample crashes oddly

That sounds like the problems reported (which this thread is about).
However, I have no problems here (NT4 SP6a & latest Cygwin stuff).
I'm using rxvt as shell with bash.
