colon got in file name -> can't delete!

Hello ,

Description of the problem:
A file with colon in the name
was created successfully from cygwin,
I can't delete it neither from cygwin nor from NT.
If you know how to delete it please drop me a line.

How to reproduce the problem:
$ touch .cachedmetrics.:0.0
$ ls
ls: .cachedmetrics.: No such file or directory
total 4
drwxr-xr-x   2 andy     None            0 May 11 20:04 .
drwxr-xr-x   5 andy     None         4096 May 11 20:58 ..

>From NT it looks like ".cachedmetrics."
