Where is the rest of the programming info?

There seem to be a lot of things available in Cygwin such as W (noX) that I 
can infer the existence of, but can't find information on in any of the 
documentation.  How do I get more information about such features or even 
find out that they exist if I haven't picked up on them accidentally?
