scp crashes w/ openssh 2.5.2p2-3

This crash happens whether I use /bin/sh or /bin/bash in my /etc/passwd file
(and shows the appropriate .exe).  In fact, I'd dropped back to ash just to
make sure it wasn't a bash problem.  I run with all the latest tools -- I
run setup every other day.  /bin/sh.exe is timestamped 2001/03/26 02:40 ...
