multi-line #defines

Marcus,

     Thank you. You were correct that the problem I was having with multi-line
#defines was due to CR/LFs in the include files.  I put back the original
include files with the multi-line #defines, stripped off the CRs and everything
worked fine.

     I wonder if anyone knows why my include files have CRs.  I have tried
running setup both from a bash shell and a dos shell and that is what I seem to
end up with.
