build new version of binutils

I upgraded binutils to the 5/29 snapshot by issuing the following command.
/usr/src/binutils-000529/configure --target=i686-pc-cygwin --prefix=/usr -v
2>&1 | tee configure.out
make -w all install 2>&1 | tee make.out

Then, I rebuild gcc2.95.2 as follows
/time/usr/src/gcc-2.95.2/configure --target=i686-pc-cygwin --prefix=/usr --w
ith-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld -v 2>&1 | tee configure.out
make -w LANGUAGES="c c++" 2>&1 | tee make.out

Unfortunately, it cause a protection fault as follows.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/gcc/gcc/intl'
./genattr /time/usr/src/gcc-2.95.2/gcc/config/i386/i386.md > tmp-attr.h
      0 [main] genattr 8830 handle_exceptions: Exception:
STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

I tried to reinstall Cygwin and build gcc directly (w/o upgrading binutils).
The result is the same.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Thanks & Regards,
Tom
