mount problems

ARGHHH!  It happened again!

All I did was:
umount /view

then I tried:
mount -b m: /view

and some other combinations (which always got "Invalid arguments").  Then, all
of a sudden, ALL my mounts disappeared and were replaced by:
C:   /    user textmode

I've enclosed the output of 'cygcheck -s -v -r' before the catastrophe as well
as the one after.
