[Wishlist] Could we have gdbm and cvs in?

Charles Wilson has already agreed to provide us with cvs (and gdbm).
There's no decision made if they both will be part of the base distro
or part of a `contrib` directory but I think as well that it would make
sense to put them into the base distro.
