B19: g++ compiling problems

I have recently downloaded and installed gnu-win32.  As far as I know,
everything installed just fine; however, when I try to compile *.cc or
*.cpp files that compiled on the UNIX version, compile incorrectly or won't
compile at all with this version.  Can someone please help?
