It looks a postinstall problem:

======================
if [ ! -f /etc/X11/app-defaults/Fig ]
then
     /usr/bin/mkdir -p /etc/X11/app-defaults
     /usr/bin/cp /etc/defaults/etc/X11/app-defaults/Fig
/etc/X11/app-defaults/Fig
fi

if [ ! -f /etc/X11/app-defaults/Fig-color ]
then
     /usr/bin/mkdir -p /etc/X11/app-defaults
     /usr/bin/cp /etc/defaults/etc/X11/app-defaults/Fig-color
/etc/X11/app-defaults/Fig-color
fi
======================

If I read correctly, if Fig* files exist in '/etc/X11/app-defaults',
they are not replaced with new.

Indeed, in my system, the Fig* file in
'/etc/defaults/etc/X11/app-defaults' belong to 3.2.5b, instead those in
'/etc/X11/app-defaults' belong to 3.2.4!

Ciao,
Angelo.
