problem with setxkbmap

Hello,
I am having problems switching to my Danish keymap on Cygwin/X using
setxkbmap. If I type "setxkbmap dk" it outputs "Error loading new
keyboard description" and back in the bash window it outputs
"/usr/bin/sh: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/xkbcomp: No such file or
directory".

I've already tried searching on Google for hours and still, nothing.
Please help.
