I assume you're talking about the comment with a CGF on it.  I don't
recall what that was about.

However, the changelog entry says:

* fhandler_tty.cc (fhandler_tty_slave::dup): Don't assign a controlling
terminal to a process when duped.  Linux doesn't do this, so we won't either.

So, I assume that my research was correct.
