Well I'm not the one who was complaining about the lack of relevant
warnings. You seemed frustrated, so I offered a suggestion disguised as
a rhetorical question. However, if I get some extra time, I'll try
looking into them. I think we can all agree that while -Wall is pretty
thorough, -W and -pedantic also catch the not-so-obvious corner-cases,
too. Perhaps investigating the cause of the additional warnings
triggered by those flags might be fruitful in one's attempt to solve the
current outstanding issues? Just my opinion...
