libiberty build problem in CVS

I had to use the following workaround:

    $ touch libiberty/.o

to "fix" the following problem:

    gcc   stamp-picdir   -o .o
    stamp-picdir: file not recognized: File truncated
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    make[1]: *** [.o] Error 1
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/jt/src/cygwin/build/libiberty'

Sorry, this is just a heads up and not a patch...
